Totalitarian has been described as a model of government that strongly prohibits opposition parties. This mode of government is typically characterized by a high control over the public as well as the private lives of citizens.  According to Drucker (2017), totalitarian is regarded as the most complete and extreme authoritarianism.   Totalitarian regimes are often characterized by political repression, control over the economy, political cultism, mass surveillance, restriction of speech, as well as widespread use of state terrorism.
