Solution:

High-performance healthcare systems are usually influenced by a wide range of drivers. Taking this into consideration, my selected key drivers of high-performance healthcare systems present in my current workplace are cost and quality. According to Gauld et al. (2014), nurses usually play a fundamental role when it comes to supporting the drivers by ascertaining that their patients are the heart of the performance. In relation to the aspect of quality, it is with no doubt that approaches to supporting quality in healthcare system include delivery of patient-centered care as well as effective patient self-management. Saini et al. (2014) articulate that effective patient self-management facilitates the improvement of the quality of life and reduce caregivers’ and healthcare systems’ burden.  When it comes to the aspect of costs, whilst some individuals, particularly the middle and the high social classes pay for healthcare services….
