A reflective journal is a means of recording ideas, personal thoughts and experiences, as well as reflections and insights that you have in the learning process of this module. In addition to the demands of a typical written assignment (e.g. able to give definition on concepts, demonstrate basic understanding of course materials), reflective journal requires you to think more deeply, to challenge their old ideas with new incoming information, to synthesize the course materials you have learnt into your personal thoughts and philosophy, and also to integrate it into their daily experiences and future actions. A reflective journal may include what you have done, what you have learnt and how you have found your week or month. Maybe you can include the thoughts of the experiences that you are having, the things that you have enjoyed, the things that you have done well and the things that you could have done better – which you can then reflect on.
