2. Outlander (2014-ongoing)

Outlander is a historical time travel drama starring Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe. Like Game Of ThronesOutlander is based on a book series of the same name by Diana Gabaldon. Romance is at the center of this story. The series focuses on the adventures of Claire, a World War II nurse, as she is transported to different times in history.

The Tudors is a historical fiction series based on King Henry VIII. It is set in 16th century England. He then proceeds to play the Beatles’ songs to let this world experience the greatness of the band. Yesterday is a funny, sarcastic way of celebrating the greatness of the Beatles.
