Bullying is a common occurrence in the healthcare system in the current world. There are various causes of bullying and different frequency of bullying at different levels of the nursing profession in today’s healthcare environments. In an EBP project on nurse bullying, the independent variable is would be a variable that can be manipulated by the researcher. The dependent variable is the response that is measured by the researcher. In a project on nurse bullying, the researcher could compare the frequency and intensity of nurse bullying among the different levels of nurses that are in a hospital set up, (Polit, & Beck, 2004).
