[Exploring this topic made my understanding more diverse, the current events of today have always seemed to revert to the killing of unarmed African Americans not due to their success but due to their skin color. I have witnessed racial injustices firsthand being a young African American female in healthcare to some people racism is a way of life and while I was being victimized for some reason I felt like it was only me, but then you learn about the events such as the Tulsa massacre and you understand that racial injustices run deep and we haven't come as far as we think we have an as a nation looking to be accepted equally. .]
