Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Committee Initiative refers to the future of nursing
since its beginning to streamline the nursing field by shedding light on the critical role that
nurses need to play to ensure a healthy society in the coming years (Altman, Butler & Shern,
2016). This committee played various important roles in the creation of IOM. Firstly, this
committee has undertaken an efficient approach to IMO for initiating a program that will
streamline the future of nursing. This has been done by creating the report including clear
recommendations for the future of nursing. Recommendations, mentioned in the report of the
committee included the importance of recognizing the vital role of nurses in delivering the
best quality care to all patients. Besides, the committee have mentioned about the important
