Do you believe that nurses as lobbyists are essential to the growth of nursing as a profession? Why or why not?

Yes, I believe that lobbyist nurses are essential to the growth of the nursing profession as they can help in the development of policies and laws that can play a significant role in advancing nursing practice. Without the effort of nurse lobbyists, nurse lobbyists, therefore, find it difficult to have policies and various regulations that favor the nursing discipline in different legislative institutions. Nurse lobbyists take up the role of advocating for the nursing discipline full-time, which makes them more efficient and effective due to their experiences (Brito Duarte, 2015).By concentrating on ensuring that the nursing discipline develops through the formulation of policies and laws, lobbyists play a significant role in the growth of the nursing profession
