 Introduction When a patient visits healthcare system, there are high chances of prescribing for medication. Some of the essential factors to consider before prescribing a drug to a patient are health history and physical examination of the patient (Arcangelo, Peterson, Wilbur, & Reinhold, 2017).A nurse or physician should prescribe based on patient’s diagnosis and know the quality that a patient should receive based on health history and physical examination (Mitchell & Oliphant, 2016). In this discussion, the essay focuses on scenario 2 to explain ethical and legal implications for all stakeholders involved such as patient's family, prescriber, pharmacist, and patient.
