Establish the Context: Marketing Goals
The mission of CHCS is to help our clients lead independent lifestyles in the comfort and
safety of their own homes by thoroughly vetting and training caregivers to meet their needs. To
set CHCS as an emerging leader in home care services, the following marketing goals were
created that aligns with the agency’s mission, vison, and values:
Goal #1: Marketing - attracting new clients and getting our name visible in the
community. Starting a viable marketing campaign requires a website and a Google My Business
listing. To penetrate the market, gorilla marketing techniques will be deployed including giving
caregivers car magnets, t-shirts, and canvas bags to be used daily. Other marketing methods are
asking employees, clients, and supporters to place yard signs which is useful for gaining local
attention, in addition, placing flyers in pizzerias, diners, laundromats, and church bulletins.
Social media marketing will play an important part in marketing the company. The company has
a social media posting calendar which has several ideas for posting videos and doing Facebook
Live Q&A. What is more, engaging with social media users from both the Facebook page and
the Google My Business page will help to garner more views.
Goal #2: Networking and Building Relationships - building and maintaining a loyal client
base and professional referral network. Providing quality services is underlining factor for
sustaining a loyal customer base and this includes employing the best caregivers. Moreover,
happy clients often refer new clients. Building relationships with healthcare practitioners and
other ancillary providers can validate CHCS as a reputable service provider. Frequently visiting

the offices of the providers and keeping the marketing materials in stock can ensure that their
clients are consistently provided with information about CHCS.
Goal #3: Recruiting – recruiting and training Direct Care Workers (DCWs) is a top
priority because the caregivers represent the company. Providing quality care for the elderly and
adults with physical limitation presents a unique challenge as the recruitment material must be
tailored to attract candidates with the right mix of experience and attitude. Hiring new caregivers
based on their character will be an easy transition to train them to be skillful which aligns with
the mission of the company.
Industry Segment
CHCS is focused on people who are over the age of 65 and a person of any age who
requires assistance at home care. For instance, a middle-aged adult with a traumatic brain injury
because of an auto accident might require 24-hour care in the comfort and safety of their own
home rather than being institutionalized. Moreover, our target audiences reside in the Northeast
Pennsylvania region and seek personalized and affordable home care services. With more
seniors deciding to age in place, adult children with aging parents will find peace of mind with a
daily or weekly respite which can also reduce family caregiver burnout.
