NR 500 Week 8 Discussion-What Did You Learn

The AACN (2011) developed the ‘Essentials of Master’s Education’ in order to identify the knowledge and skills that all nurses prepared in master’s nursing programs should acquire. I feel these concepts will impact every aspect of my nursing career and education. Throughout this course, I feel that I have developed a deeper understanding of integrating scientific findings to enhance the quality of patient care. Furthermore, I feel this course has adequately prepared me with the principles of professional communication, scholarly writing, and the skills necessary to evaluate the credibility of published research.
