The patient considered is Molly who is 66 years old. She is living with her husband and two children who are moving out in the following month. She is accompanied by her husband and her daughter with the complaint of having concern about the rise of odd behaviors of the patient. In the past, she had been diagnosed with schizophrenia, anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. The initial time that Molly heard of voices was when she was around 8 years old and has continuously been in psychiatric health. She points out that she has been smoking for almost all her life but from her mid-50s she started making use of nicotine patches and gum. This paper presents the assessment of the geriatric patient and the treatment plan of the patient.
