Healthcare organizations are focused on carrying out their businesses in a manner that ensures it is a going concern unless when the healthcare facility is funded by the government. This implies that the resources are supposed to be effectively planned for the organization to remain in operation upon implementing certain policies. As such, there are competing interests that are supposed to be selected based on the expected influence on the organization. For instance, as much as the healthcare provider will require to get the best payment and incentives, the patients must be able to access cost-effective quality healthcare services. This paper focuses on the examination of the competing interests and policies about the issue of shortages of nurses in my healthcare organization.
