It is essential to know that health organizations have embraced evidence-based practice to reduce the cost of treatment. Quadruple Aim focuses on reducing the cost of healthcare (Melnyk & Fineout- Overholt, 2011). It emphasizes an accurate prediction of diseases and eliminates cases of misdiagnosis that could lead to unnecessary treatment. The fourth pillar of Quadruple Aim is improving the work life of nurses by boosting the satisfaction of the health workers and preventing cases of burnouts. Evidence-based practice has shown that nurses who work for long hours tend to make medical mistakes (Maughan & Yonkaitis, 2017).
