Response

Greetings, thank you for taking the time to contribute to the discussion. I agree with your post. Your work is well structured and comprehensively constructed, thus easy to read and understand. I appreciate your consideration in acknowledging my interest in giving feedback. I will only add a few points concerning your post.

According to the UN 2030 Agenda, the Sustainable Development Goals act as roadmaps to the development of humankind’s life (Colglazier, 2018). The goals were formulated to transform humankind’s health, environmental and economic sectors. The main aim was to enhance the welfare and wellbeing of people through sustainable programs. Therefore, the seventeen goals deserve to be recognized as gifts to humankind.

Sustainable development goal 6 contributes a lot when it comes to health. For instance, everyone is entitled to safe, clean water, food, and a clean environment. All these have improved after the UN implemented the sustainable development goals. Individuals can now access healthy foods through agricultural activities, clean water through highly controlled water bodies (Water, 2018). The aquatic animals are well taken care of, thus improving the environment and reducing the risks of transmission of infectious diseases.

Advocating for health policies and being fundamental at the community level is a good strategy. In addition to that, I would also recommend creation awareness more, especially on water usage. In some regions, water has become an expensive commodity in life, thus becoming a challenge for some people to access safe, clean water. It is, therefore, essential for people to recycle water. For example, kitchen water can be recycled and used in kitchen gardens or farms. Advocating more on people concentrating on their health is crucial in improving the development of sustainable goals globally. Individuals should learn to practice good health behaviors such as diet and physical exercise, thus reducing health problems like obesity, heart attacks, and diabetes. Sustainable development goals have improved human life and the ecosystem; therefore, everyone has a role to play in ensuring that the UN Agenda 2030 is achieved in the long run (Pradhan et al., 2017).
