One great aspiration that is to be attained is to become a nurse leader. This is one of the aspirations that I have and that I expected to focus on to be able to attain a better standing in the process of delivery of patient care services. The efforts to ensure that issues of lack of advocacy will be attained by the implementation of professional standards and measures for better changes to be attained as opined by Porter-O’Grady (2019). The intention is to gain skills that will allow me to be able to provide the best leadership as a nurse. The one thing that is being aimed at is to have an understanding of how to improve on my communication skills to allow me to be able to advocate for the patients effectively.

The practicum experience will be applied in the process of improvement of my teamwork skills to allow me to be able to work with others effectively as supported by Razzi and Bianchi (2019). As a nurse leader, one is supposed to be able to have an understanding of how they can work with others and be able to share their ideas and get to learn of the ideas that the others have in the process of developing the quality and safety of care (Lau et al., 2020)
