Healthcare System Selection-Federally Qualified Healthcare System - Non-for-Profit Throughout the United States there are several health systems models to choose from. Many are focused on free-standing for-profit care. Those models have specific metrics that are required to be met and/or exceeded ensure the highest profit margin so this can be allocated to stake holder, outside constituents, investing firms and some reinvestments into the system to ensure continued sustainability. This type of health care system usually has a large corporate backing and multiple funding sources that are driven by corporate investments. The health system model that I have selected; focuses on providing safe, quality, efficient, and equitable healthcare in a non-for-profit sector. This system of care is known as a Federally Qualified Healthcare System (FQHC). This type of healthcare contrast with the for-profit hospital-based system of care mainly because of the social economical population
