Grounded theory and ethnographic research compare in various ways, based on the methodologies applied. Both are similar in that the researchers involved study the in-question phenomenon, both in a holistic model and in its natural form. Besides, according to Najafi et al. (2016), the researchers in the two offer a multitude of data interpretations and apply various data collection models hence ensuring the credibility and reliability of the findings. The main objective or principle of the two types of research is to create a detailed analysis of the behavior and cultural meanings, then construing the research findings. Ethnographic research and grounded theory differentiate in the methodology principles they apply. For instance, ethnographic research stresses comprehending the respondent's behaviors regarding a given culture, meaning that the researchers focus on a single culture element and not the whole context. In contrast, the grounded theory focuses on bringing out the main category forming the basis of the study
