I would like to work as a registered nurse (RN) Caldwell institute NC. Cowan posits the role of the palliative care NP requires advanced communication and teamwork skills. APN is required to exhibit excellent communication skills with family members and respect their choices of treatment. This nursing competency is dictated by ethical and legal principles of autonomy. I plan to follow all the stipulated legal and ethical guidelines and portray a high level of competency in my working tenure. Reflection and Conclusion The interview was successful in evaluating the regulatory and legal requirements and scope of practice as an APN and RN nurse within Caldwell Hospice/Palliative Care in North California. The interview with Cowan was also very beneficial to me at a personal level as it also inspired me to work under the same institution and grow in the academic ladder and achieve my MSN and ARPN within the same organization and State.
