As a healthcare provider, one is supposed to help in the identification of health issues experienced and develop evidence-based interventions that could help to manage the health concern. The increase in cases of COVID-19 has become one of the research areas since healthcare providers intend to determine the risks that are faced by patients and the risk factors associated with the condition (Pokhrel & Chhetri, 2021). Furthermore, there is extensive research on the ways that could be applied to help in reducing the cases of infections with the health pandemic. This capstone project intends to examine the evidence-based practice measures that are supposed to be put in place to help in the reduction of issues of infections with COVID-19.
The rising cases of infections with COVID-19 have become a concern and healthcare providers focus on the examination of ways that could be used in the examination of the best way to handle the complication. Over the past two years, the research activities carried out have focused on various ways that could be used in the management of the pandemic. It is prudent that a specific protocol is provided that is supposed to be followed by the healthcare providers in the management of the issue of infections.
The change proposal aims to examine the steps that are supposed to be taken when handling the patient care standards and the steps that are supposed to be carried out in the process of delivery of patient care. The proposal will help in the determination of the concerns that are faced by patients and the need for change in the healthcare sector for the reduction of infections.
