Consulting for the Caring Angel Hospital

Introduction

As a senior consultant at Practical Health Care Consulting, I have carried out an examination of Caring Angel Hospital for three months with the intention of improvement of the quality of care. The healthcare facility has been making losses and lending institutions are not willing to lend a large sum of money for an effective marketing process. There are various observations made including the fact that patients opt from one specialized health facility to another. The other thing is that the seats in the waiting area are not comfortable, patiently show up for an appointment at the wrong dates, nurses are not happy when serving patients, each of the healthcare providers works alone and hides their work from the others. This paper aims to report and bring out recommendations designed to help the health facility achieve its goals. 

Improve the quality of care

This is one of the important goals that the organization is supposed to capitalize on to reduce cases of patients moving from one health facility to the other. From the observation that is made, the staff in the healthcare facility do not include patients in the process of treatment and they blame each other for the failures that have occurred. This leads to the deterioration in the quality of care in the facility. 

The organization is supposed to train the staff and direct them to put focus on the patients and have an understanding of how to present themselves to the patients in a pleasant demeanor. This can be attained by smiling more when communicating with the patients. This is important because it allows for the patients to get assurance of the abilities of the healthcare staff. The other recommendation to improve the quality of care is the installation of comfortable couches in the waiting area since the seats that are there at the moment are not comfortable. This has an impact in that it provides a sense of assurance on the quality of medical care expected….
