HPI: The patient is a 36-year-old Hispanic American male patient. The patient shows signs of addiction to Xanax that he has been using due to his anxiety concerns. On advising the patient to seek psychotherapeutic help for the addition, he becomes angry and pleaded for the prescription of the medication since he admits that he cannot be able to function without the medication.

S- The patient points out that he works in a concrete company and he got a back injury when at work. During his recovery, he was using pain medication and Xanax was prescribed for use in the management of his anxiety condition He indicates that he is unable to function without using the medication and that he cannot afford to fail to go to work since he is the sole provider of this family….
