Introduction

The use of a business information system is critical in that it will allow for various activities to be carried out. In many instances, the systems are customized in such a way that each of the systems is meant for a certain activity. This is as well of importance in that it allows for the operations of the organization to be smooth and faster as alluded to by Nürk (2019). The commonly used business information systems that are used in an organization include the supply chain management system, customer relationship management system, the decision support system, and the human resource management system among others. In this paper, the focus is on the customer relationship management system.
